Vrba

In Vrba we visited the house in which France Preseren was born. He died on 8 February 1849 and 8 February is the Day of Culture in Slovenia. So a lot of people gathered in Vrba.
In this house two great people were born: France Preseren in 1800 and 100 years later Anton Vovk, his grand nephew. Anton Vovk was the archbishop of Ljubljana and is now in the process of beatification.

The house is turned into a museum. In the picture: traditional stove.
