Vincek's Hike 2011
Yesterday (23 January) we joined the traditional Vincek's hike in Medjimurje, Croatia. The starting point was St. Martin's Spa, then we walked up and down the hills from Jurovcak to Kapelscak and then Beli Breg. We finished the 15 km long hike in Mursko Sredisce.

Gorski Kotar
We finished our hike in Gorski Kotar on the summit of Milanov Vrh, 1011 m above sea level. There the bus was waiting for us. But before leaving for home the organizers served us stew, cake, tea ...

This hike was oganized by a Mountaineering Club from Zagreb, Croatia. Every year in June hikers from Croatia and Slovenia discover a different piece of the Croatian National Park Gorski Kotar.

Gorski Kotar
On Sunday (13 June) we were walking in Gorski Kotar, Croatia. We started our hike in a place called Tatinska Draga. From there the trail led to Kozji Vrh (916 m), then Vrazji Vrtec (904 m), we passed the village Prezid and finished our hike on the summit of Milanov Vrh (1011 m). We were walking across meadows and through forests most of the time.
