After visiting the old part of Larnaca with its numerous workshops of earthenware, silverware ... we took a stroll along the Larnaca Promenade.

The 7th day (Saturday 1 May) we stayed in Larnaca. We were lying idle on the beach, in the afternoon we took a walk to the center of the town.

In the afternoon we visited the capital Nicosia. Unfortunately it was raining heavily.

In the village we didn't see many people. Two boys joined us when we were waiting for hikers to return from the Pentadactylos mountain.

The boys were kind, friendly, they tried to talk with us using their few English words and hands. They offered us fruits. They didn't want to accept money for icecream. But do not mention anything Greek to them. In a moment they turn hostile.

The village was Greek before 1974. We realized that when we passed the destroyed Greek graveyard.

We headed for the village, waking very slowly since we had plenty of time, and enjoying the amazing countryside.
