In Doslovce Slovenian writer Fran S. Finzgar (1871-1962) was born. His birth place is turned into the open-air museum consisting of cottage, barn and hayrack.

The house features an exhibition which provides an insight into the life of small peasants in Upper Carniola in the 19th century.
