From Vrhpolje the bus took us to Vipava. We walked along its narrow streets and took a view of the old Lanthieri manson.

In Vipava the diplomat and writer Sigismund von Herberstein (1486-1566)was born.

Front of the Lanthieri Manson. The Lanthieris came to Vipava in the 16th century. In the 17th century they constructed a new manor house alongside numorous springs of the Vipava River. The building is a typical example of Venetian architecture.
